Welcome and thank you for considering Dunes of Panama Management Association and Vacation Rentals (a.k.a. DOPMA) to hopefully be your rental agent to market, manage and maintain your condominium.

The Dunes of Panama Management Association and Vacation Rental is the Official on-site homeowners rental program incorporated February 1, 1981.  DOPMA is a full-service condominium association management and rental program service operated by the Dunes of Panama owners.  Managing Building B, C, D and E.

We focus on helping each homeowner achieve their individual goals for their investment.  We recognize that every homeowner does not have the same goals.  We have homeowners where income generation is the most important matter; there are other homeowners who count the income generated as a bonus but are mainly focused on having regular maintenance / inspection services; some homeowners want to use their condo a good bit for themselves but want some income generation to help with the taxes and costs.  Here are a few important highlights of the services we provide to the homeowner. Whichever are your plans for your condo investment we can help achieve that for you.

We build your listing with professionally designed website and photography.

Since 1981, we have developed a very robust vacation rental program that delivers results.  Our web presence is very strong, and we partner with leading vacation rental advertisers so that your property receives a great deal of exposure.

Competitive commission and rates.  We allow those homeowners who desire to help in the marketing of their property (and provide them great tools to do so by the Owners booking portal) the Dunes of Panama Management Association and Vacation Rentals offer a reduced commission for owner generated reservations.

Caring for your guest throughout their stay can be challenging if you do not live in our area year-round.  If a guest has a problem or a question, it’s tough to respond effectively if you are not here.  When there is an issue Our guest service team is here to care for your investment property and eliminate those types of challenges and worries for you.

We offer numerous ways for our guests to contact us, so we are always available to meet their needs.

Proactive Maintenance / Condo Maintaining

Wear and tear to vacation rentals is inevitable.  However, limiting the time between an issue being reported and having it resolved is the key to the efficient running of a vacation rental business.  Down time is money lost to the homeowner. 

Our In-house maintenance team is here to handle the various needs of the condo.  If a specialist is needed, we will contact one of our preferred companies and get things handled (A/C, Major appliances, Electricians).

Proactive Housekeeping / Condo cleaning and Inventory

  • Linens, towels, kitchen towels and cloths are provided for each rental property.  As well as garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, one paper towel roll, bath soap.
  • Pre and post stay inspections are done for your condo.
  • Housekeeping will also report to maintenance any issue they find while cleaning and inspecting the condo.

Every time a guest departs the condition of the unit and how the property was left is recorded. In rare instances should any guest cause damage DOPMA rental program is self-insured.  Each reservation/guest pays a Damage Waiver fee of $50 which covers the guest up to $350 should a guest cause damage to a unit.  Should a guests cause damages that exceed their $350 limit they will be responsible for the overages.  DOPMA will assist the owner should further steps be needed to collect the difference.

Inventory / inspection in detail of the entire unit is done every Fall and will be reported to the homeowner of their contents (Flatware, dishes, pots/pans, etc.). 

We also build a historic record of the property, such as carpet cleaning, tile cleaning, deep cleaning to ensure your vacation home remains in tip top shape for you and your guests.
