All About the Bands!

What music will be playing? With a rotating set of musicians, each week brings some new live music to Panama City Beach. You can choose to attend only your favorite musicians’ concerts or come every week for a fresh experience.

There are four Tuesdays in July, five in August, and one concert in September right after Labor Day. The schedule and band info are as follows:

Tuesday, July 6: The Sound Arcade

For some Retro 80s vibes, The Sound Arcade has you covered. They play the best of the British invasion/one-hit wonders of the 80s, bringing the MTV music experience to the stage. All their performances feature a dynamic light show and packed dance floors. These talented musicians will bring you back to a time when Pacman chomped, and Donkey Kong stomped! Check out their Facebook page for videos of their music. If you like their sound, they’re also available for clubs, parties, weddings, and other events!

Tuesday, July 14: The Deja Vu Band

Versatility is their specialty! With the Deja Vu Band, you can expect anything from Classic Rock to Pop to Country to Motown and everything in between. These musicians are very experienced and bring a great mix of vocals with showmanship. They frequent establishments like the Old Fish House in Santa Rosa Beach, so if you enjoy their music, you can catch their shows again and again!

Tuesday, July 20: Anthony Peebles

This talented local Panama City Beach artist has been performing from a young age. He decided to pursue his music professionally in his late teens and has been in the business ever since. His alternative style is complemented by what critics describe as a bright string hammering accompanied by a belty, baritone vocal. A songwriter and recording artist, you can find more of his work from record producer First Note Entertainment.

Tuesday, July 27: Me Like Bees

This Indie Rock band hails from the heart of Missouri. In 2013, they released their first full-length record, “The Ideas.” They went on to win a spot to compete in the Ernie Ball Music Man Battle of the Bands, where they beat out over 20,000 bands to advance to the final round. They have released the EP “There Will Be Time” and embarked on a nationwide tour spanning from Hollywood to Massachusetts. This fall, they will head out on another nationwide tour. Check their Facebook page for a complete list of concert venues!

Tuesday, August 3: The Selfless Lovers

This piano-drive rock’n’roll band hails from Austin, Texas. Their original music draws on classic rock, soul, blues, and southern rock influences, offering an energized retro sound. These talented musicians are an absolute must-see; the band’s singer plays saxophone and piano at the same time during the set.

Since 2018, the band has been actively touring Texas, and they play about 150 live performances per year. They draw inspiration from iconic live bands like The Rolling Stones and Bruce Springsteen. The Selfless Lovers aim to bring the joy and energy of roots rock’n’roll to new audiences.

Check out their music and tour schedule at theselflesslovers.com. They’ve released three EPs, which can be listened to on their webpage.

Tuesday, August 10: Kris Lager Band

This funky and fierce blues guitar player has spent most of his life as a traveling musician. He crafts uplifting, interactive, and spiritual tunes that weave the “Celebrating Life” theme throughout his songs. Every time he hits the stage, it is with the intense purpose of uplifting and engaging audiences. For more information about Kris or his music, be sure to visit his website.
