Andy’s Flour Power
From biscuits to vegetable frittatas, Andy’s Flour Power Café & Bakery has a vast brunch menu that will have something for everyone in your party.
Whether it’s something as simple as a pistachio muffin or an “I Want It All” Omelet that includes ham, onion, mushroom, tomatoes, peppers, spinach, bacon, and cheddar cheese, Andy’s starts their day in the early morning hours, so they’re ready to fill any order.
The 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday brunch menu offers such variety as breakfast croissants, shrimp and grits, chicken salad on a croissant, waffles, French toast, open-faced egg sandwiches, and roasted veggies.
There’s grilled cheese, peanut butter and jelly, biscuit n’ gravy, or Belgian waffles for the kids. Beverages for all include hot coffee, hot and iced tea, Ocean Spray juices, soda, hot chocolate, or milk (white or chocolate).
Just a few blocks from the Emerald Coast on Thomas Drive, near the original Andy’s began, the restaurant expands to more than double the seats from its former location, so there’s plenty of parking and less wait time. Be sure to leave with something from the bakery if you didn’t try it while dining!
Dat Cajun Place
Sunday Brunch at Dat Cajun Place, also located on Thomas Drive, is available between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The owners, displaced from Katrina in 2005, brought their Cajun taste to Panama City Beach and found to their delight that gumbo, Cajun music, and other specials were received with open arms…and open mouths! What started as a small sandwich place grew to the 8,600-square foot Dat Cajun Place that operates today.
The Brunch Menu features eggs, eggs, eggs: various omelet choices with meat (ham, pork sausage, bacon, flank steak) or no meat (mushrooms, shredded and/or provolone cheese, onions, tomato, jalapeno peppers), eggs Benedict (steak or Dat Benedict with crawfish cake and crawfish etouffee), Dat Scrambled Hash with scrambled eggs, sauteed onions, red potatoes, cheese, tomato, and pork sausage. Or, choose Eggs Your Way—any way!
There’s also shrimp and lobster grits, pancakes, gourmet cinnamon rolls, chicken & waffles, and French toast. A full liquor bar with specialty drinks and live music with the Mike Wagner Jazz Trio makes for a unique PCB experience.
Liza’s Kitchen
Keep traveling along Thomas Drive, and you’ll come to another brunch favorite in Panama City Beach: Liza’s Kitchen Café & Catering, boasting “the best in tasty comfort food.”
Opened in 2006 and under new management since 2017, Liza’s Kitchen has grown in popularity and has even been featured in magazines and local TV shows and has won awards from TripAdvisor. The restaurant has consistently been a top contender in the local “Best of Bay” Reader’s Choice awards.
The Weekend Brunch menu lists among its mouth-watering and not-to-be-found-elsewhere offerings Eggs Liza (poached eggs with roast beef and Pimento cheese on focaccia with scallion hollandaise), Hippie hash (chicken, bacon, onions, roasted red, potatoes, cheddar cheese, two eggs, and scallion hollandaise), and Eggs New Orleans (poached eggs and creole hollandaise over fried eggplant). Hollandaise is hand-made!
There’s also a Breakfast Burrito, BLEAT (bacon, lettuce, fried egg, avocado, and tomato) sandwich, French toast, biscuit & gravy, Eggs benedict, and Classic Breakfast of two eggs any style, wheat toast, and choice of bacon or sausage and grits or potatoes. For lite diners, there’s the choice of hummus or pimento cheese with pita chips, fresh focaccia with herb-infused dipping oil, and chicken and potato salad with hummus over mixed greens.

Taylor’s Breakfast & Lunch
The Panama City location of Taylor’s Breakfast & Lunch, established in 2019, is like the other restaurants situated on Thomas Drive.
Here, you’ll find an “at home” family atmosphere that the owners strive for and achieve, with Tuscany-style colors and décor surrounding spacious tables and booths.
Variety is the name of the game at Taylor’s. Want Eggs benedict? You get five different varieties, such as Parisian Benedict (poached eggs and ham with cremini mushrooms and Swiss cheese) and Hiker’s Benedict (tomatoes instead of the Parisian Swiss cheese and asparagus added), and various omelets: Mexican, Spinach Bacon Mushroom, and Steak and Cheese among them).
The brunch menu also features healthy options like avocado toast, berry oatmeal, egg white scramble; a breakfast wrap and breakfast burrito; pancakes, French toast, and waffles; and skillets and hashes such as Corned Beef Hash & Eggs and Texas Steak Skillet.
Unique dishes are featured each season; in the past, Taylor’s has offered a pumpkin pecan waffle breakfast in the Fall and a cinnamon chip waffle breakfast for the winter.
Taylor’s is open Sunday – Saturday, 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Alice’s On Bayview
Known for casual dining, Alice’s on Bayview Avenue is located in historic St. Andrew’s and boasts a spectacular view of St. Andrew’s Bay and Marina. Alice’s is certainly doing something right with a ranking of 14 out of 149 Panama City restaurants on TripAdvisor; Alice’s is certainly doing something right!
Its brunch menu, served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, lists soups & salads, sandwiches, and entrees, including shrimp & grits, salmon Benedict, fresh Gulf fish sandwich, and oyster or oyster shrimp po’boy.
For a delicious start to your brunch, you can choose deviled eggs, chicken wings, fried oysters, meatballs, Alice’s smoked tuna dip with fresh tortillas, celery, and carrot sticks. Lots of favorites on the kids’ menu: chicken fingers & fries, pancakes, French toast, hamburgers, and PB & J.
Alice’s also has a wine and beer list, with draft and bottled beers, extensive red and white wines, and champagne.
