Start Celebrating Early

At 5:30 p.m., The Barry Fish Band will be kicking things off with a live performance at Panama City Beach’s newest attraction, the Celebration Tower. The streets surrounding the concert will also be open to a giant pedestrian street festival where people can shop at various vendors and street food stands. There are also plenty of games and activities set up to entertain your kids while you explore what the festival has to offer.

This New Year’s, the Panama City Beach Ball Drop has got something fun for everyone in the family, and features fireworks, entertainment, and free live music.

Family-Friendly Celebrations

Have kids who are unable to stay out until midnight? Not to worry! The event hosts an early ball drop at 8 p.m. so that you and your family can celebrate a bit early if you can’t stay out late. For this countdown, 10,000 inflated beach balls will rain down on festival-goers for the ultimate beach-themed celebration! Even if you plan to stay for the whole evening, you won’t want to miss this first ball drop.

There is plenty to do to keep your kids occupied for the festivities. Just because your kids aren’t able to stay up late doesn’t mean that they can’t partake in the fun! Of course, for the older kids and adults, there is also the classic ball drop at midnight decorated with large glowing beach balls accompanied by a great display of fireworks.

Dance Into the Night

Immediately following the kids’ ball drop, live music from the Paperwork Band will commence and play on until 10 p.m. The Paperwork Band is an excellent cover band that plays a wide variety of top-40 hits for your listening pleasure. Once 10 p.m. strikes, Terry Brock and Friends will take the stage to play a plethora of rock and roll classics. From the anthems of White Snake and Journey to the more mellow classics, Terry Brock and Friends will get you pumped up for the main event.

Finally, the ball drop at Celebration Tower is what everyone is waiting for. The 12 South Band, a high energy dance band from Nashville, will be playing popular hits until the strike of midnight on New Year’s Eve. To officially ring in 2020, the 800-pound Beach Ball Drop is a sight to be seen! You’ll also get to experience an incredible fireworks show lighting up the night sky. This stunning celebration offers a full day with plenty of activities that are fun for everyone in your family.
