Vacation Guide
The Dunes of Panama, home of the perfect
Panama City Beach Vacation!
Let us help you plan your
Panama City Beach Vacation. Any attempt to list everything you
could find to do during your Panama City Beach
vacation would be incomplete, but here are
the highlights that should help get you started.
When planning your
Florida
Couples Vacation or Family Vacation, the first thing
you must do is decide where you want to stay.
Fortunately, that is the easiest decision of
all, because the best place to stay on Panama
City Beach is the Dunes of Panama. Featuring
one, two, and three bedroom gulf front condominiums,
the Dunes of Panama is located in the heart
of Panama City Beach. The Dunes of Panama has
provided families the perfect Panama City Beach
condo rental for over 20 years.
Be sure to
schedule plenty of "beach
time" during your Panama City Beach vacation.
The Dunes of Panama is located in the heart of Panama
City Beach, and right on the Gulf of Mexico. Panama
City Beach is known around the world as the home of
the "World's Most Beautiful Beaches", and
you'll have a great view of the sugar white sand and
emerald green water from your private balcony, perfect for
a
Florida Couples Getaway!
When you need a break from the sand, you
can do a little swimming at one of the Dunes
of Panama's three swimming pools. Play some
tennis at the Dunes of Panama tennis courts,
take a parasail ride, rent a jet ski and ride
the waves. All of this is available right on
site, for your enjoyment.
You could actually have a fantastic vacation
without ever leaving the facility at the Dunes
of Panama. But the Panama City Beach area has
even more to offer, with many attractions,
incredible restaurants, shopping galore, and
a wide selection of golf courses.
Here are just some of the attractions located
in the Panama City Beach area that you can
enjoy during your Panama City Beach vacation.
Restaurants & Shopping
Fine
dining abounds with literally hundreds
of dining choices to consider during your
Panama City Beach vacation. The new and
exciting Pier Park offers many choices.
Naturally, seafood is the main fare on
the beach, but there are also plenty of
fine choices for the land lovers (steak
eaters) also. You might want to schedule
one night at the world famous Captain Anderson's
restaurant. Captain Anderson's is world
renowned for their seafood dishes. For
breakfast, lunch or dinner, you’ll
find whatever you like, including seafood,
steak, southern barbeque, burgers, asain,
pizza, and oyster bars, just to name a
few.
The
beach is filled with wonderful shopping
opportunities from the eclectic to the
exotic and everything in between. Stores
on the beach include many well-known names
with excellent choices for your year round
shopping needs. Dunes of Panama is perfect for
Panama City FL Romantic Beach Vacations as well!
Golf
There are 20 golf courses within 40 miles of Panama
City Beach. Golf Digest magazine ranked Panama City
Beach as the best little golf town in America in
2002. Bay Point's 36 holes, include the Lagoon Legend,
once ranked as the most difficult golf course in
the world. Its course rating of 75.3 and slope rating
of 152 still rank among the world's toughest. The
Hombre Golf Club features 27 holes (each nine has
its own personality and are affectionately known
as the 'good' the 'bad' and the 'ugly'). Hombre annually
hosts the second stage of PGA Tour qualifying. Other
courses include Holiday Golf Club (a bit tamer than
Hombre and Bay Point), Shark's Tooth (a Greg Norman
design), Signal Hill (even tamer than Holiday), and
Nature Walk (an executive course in Lynn Haven).
St.
Andrew State Park

St. Andrews State Park is located at the east end of
Panama City Beach. The park covers over 1200 acres
and offers nature trails where you can see all types
of local wildlife, alligator lakes, snorkeling, bicycling,
and pier fishing. St.
Andrews State Park also has one mile
of beach area, a boat ramp and concession
stand. St Andrews State Park is
great for spending one on one time while on your
FL Romantic Couples Vacation!
Shipwreck
Island Water Park
Shipwreck Island water park is Panama City Beach's
only water park and offers thrill rides, family rides,
a wave pool, and a large children's area known as the
tadpole hole.
Shell
Island
Shell
Island is an undeveloped breaker island,
accessible only by boat, just east of St
Andrews State Park and is a favorite hang
out for Panama City Beach locals. Shuttle
boat trips to Shell Island are offered
from many Panama City Beach locations.
